Here are my key takeaways after the Reds' 3-1 Premier League win at Craven Cottage
A big seven days for Liverpool has begun in the perfect manner.
Sunday’s 3-1 win over Fulham at Craven Cottage felt huge, for Jürgen Klopp and his team. With five games to play, the Reds are still very much in the hunt for the Premier League title.
Goals from Trent Alexander-Arnold, Ryan Gravenberch and Diogo Jota moved them level on points with Arsenal at the top of the table, and the two teams will have the chance to put further pressure on Manchester City as they both play before the reigning champions in midweek.
For Liverpool, though, this was a much-needed boost after a difficult few weeks. They need a favour or two going forward, but they remain in the mix.
