Everton v Liverpool match ratings: Van Dijk and Co. bullied by Calvert-Lewin as title dreams sink
Here's how Jürgen Klopp's side rated in their derby defeat at Goodison Park on Wednesday night
Liverpool’s Premier League title dreams are in tatters after they were beaten 2-0 by Everton on a bruising night at Goodison Park.
Goals in either half from Jarrad Branthwaite and Dominic Calvert-Lewin condemned the Reds to derby defeat, their first at Goodison since 2010, and means they now need a miracle if they are to beat Arsenal and Manchester City to the title.

Darwin Núñez, Luis Díaz and Mohamed Salah all missed chances to equalise before the break, and Liverpool paid the price for the profligacy when the rampant Calvert-Lewin headed in Dwight McNeil’s corner at the back post before the hour mark.
The visitors could offer nothing in response, their dreams fading into dust as the home fans celebrated raucously.
